Erik works as a Transportation Planner for Blacksburg Transit, a department of the Town of Blacksburg, VA, where he developed an on-going transportation planning internship program for undergraduate and graduate students. He also facilitates several regional projects funded by the New River Valley Metropolitan Planning Organization. He has degrees in communication, ergonomics, and systems engineering. He is an avid commuter cyclist with a passion for integrating walkability and bikeability with transit delivery.
