Changes in Variance Law: How Does HB1849 Impact Land Use in Virginia

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule and see who's attending!

The overall proposal is to discuss how the new variance language affects a landowner’s attempt to obtain relief from the zoning ordinance; on how a landowner can be helped, or not helped by the procedural changes in the variance law; and on what effects the changes to the procedure for appeals to circuit court on variances & special exceptions will have on matters going through the process. Will highlight the new language in HB1849 from the general assembly 2015 session.
