Vlad is a principal with Renaissance Planning Group in Charlottesville, Virginia. He has three decades of experience in land use, urban design and transportation planning in Virginia and the mid Atlantic. He has helped develop dozens of comprehensive plans, area plans and zoning ordinance amendments for localities in Virginia, as well as worked on the integration of land use and transportation for agencies at the state and federal level. He has recently developed master plans in the cities of Charleston and North Charleston, South Carolina and Orlando, Florida, and is working on a new zoning code for Norfolk, VA.
